While we usually don't allow recs for works in progress or requests for recs from other people, you can post any type of rec or request for recs in a comment to this post!
You don't need to sign up and you don't have to use our rec templates.
As these are 'informal recs' they won't be archived on the spreadsheet or pinboard.

This vid combines footage from TRF and TEH for an emotional impact that was, for me, greater than the actual episode of TEH. Beautiful work.

The best autistic!Sherlock fic I've seen. Heartbreaking and realistic family interaction. Note on pairings: listed as both gen and m/m, but no pairings are listed yet (SH has just reached the age for uni). I'm going to guess it will be S/V and/or S/J in the future, but please note that's 100% pure speculation, as he's met neither yet.

Perhaps I like this so much because the "kid" in this kidfic is Sherlock himself, and the similarities of the child Sherlock to the adult Sherlock manifest themselves very early indeed, at least to John's and Sherlock's eyes! I won't spoil it, but "baby's first word" in child!Sherlock's case is absolutely hysterical.
