Announcements and a poll!

Hey everyone!

A couple of things:

First of all, sign-ups are frozen for the moment!
Don't worry, the comm isn't going anywhere, but from now on sign-ups will only open a month prior to the reccing month in question. Meaning we'll reopen in October for reccing in November, in November for reccing in December and so on.

That said, we will take on two additional reccers for THIS month. I know it's short notice but if you're interested just comment below.


Thing no 2: We've been thinking about having a monthly "Open Rec Day", centered around specific themes. Some of you have already expressed an interest in this, but obviously it's only going to make sense if there's enough feedback.

I love the idea! I think it would work best if the theme is announced a week or so in advance so we have time to dig our preferred rec and several alternates in case our first choices are chosen.

I can rec again this month if you aren't tired of me yet :) I had a few more things anyway I didn't get to in July because of the problems lj was having.

Also, I love the idea of themed rec days. That could be so cool!
