Reccer's comments: I have so much art to rec this month! I'd like to start with this beautiful piece. It's a sketch of BBC Sherlock's shooting-the-wall moment from "The Great Game," done in a style that is so reminiscent of Sidney Paget that it takes my breath away. I don't even know if that stylistic homage was intentional -- the artist doesn't mention it -- but the shading, the shadows, the sketchwork and color all combine to make this seem like it would be perfectly at home in the pages of The Strand.

The detail work is simply fantastic -- the collection of creases on Sherlock's pajamas and the marvelous contours of his leather chair are just delightful. The elegant, indolent drape of his hand...the sharply defined bones of his foot...wow.

Hello. Do you know any angsty post-reichenbach fic where they were lovers before the fall? John was mad because Sherlock described his being away like a great adventure or something and then John tells Sherlock to piss off. Piss off means a lot to them because it's the one phrase John wouldnt use on Sherlock.Thank you. I've nbeen going mad trying to remember it.
