Reccer's comments: You may think you've read every variation on Sherlock-and-John-get-together fic, but this one made me fall in love with the genre all over again. fleshflutter's prose is a delight to read: she crafts sentences beautifully, and her way of capturing the characters even in seemingly mundane description is near uncanny. Sherlock's ultimate method for clueing John in to what's going on is immensely satisfying (i.e. hot) and perfectly in-character. The story includes several references to ACD cases that will leave fans smiling, and an awkward evening with Mycroft is a bonus feature.
