Title: Odontophilia
Author: Crystalwren
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Length: 5200
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: Rape, underage sex
Verse: Sherlock BBC
Author's summary: Sherlock has an odd sexual fetish. John doesn't share it but he's willing to accommodate it.

Reccer's comments: Sherlock has a sexual fascination with teeth - especially John's. Now, maybe this doesn't sound very sexy, but give this fic a try. The author absolutely sells it. This is a damaged Sherlock who is confused by and unable to recognize his own emotions. His obsession with teeth grows over the course of the fic, as he has trouble processing his feelings around a series of child murders (warning: one was also raped). Sherlock's affection for John has an innocent, childlike quality - one of my favorite bits of the fic is a scene where Sherlock gives John a gift.

Excerpt: “I would like, John, for you to show me your teeth.”

Sherlock calculates a ninety eight probability, based on John’s previously stated lack of sexual interest in males and on previous incidents where he’d lost his temper over some bizarre unstated social transgression of Sherlock’s, that John will punch him in the face. So he’s surprised when John smiles, and opens his mouth, and opens it wide. Surprised, but so completely and utterly thrilled.

The lining of John’s mouth, the soft bed of his tongue, the palate, how slick and wet it looked and John’s teeth, oh god, John’s teeth. Sherlock vaguely hears himself make this strange whimpering sound but that doesn’t matter, the only thing that matters is what’s inside of John’s mouth.

Title: O Still Small Voice of Calm
Author: Persiflager
Pairing: Sherlock Holmes/John Watson
Length: 5,829 words
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: None
Verse: BBC Sherlock
Author's summary: Written for this prompt on the kinkmeme that asked for a choir AU.

Reccer's comments: I find myself returning to this story every few months. I love how cleverly the author has used all the BBC Sherlock characters, and how in character they remain even though this is such an AU -- they're in university, much younger, and of course, in a choir. I thought Greg Lestrade in particular was a skillful re-imagining of the BBC's Lestrade.

Most of the story is told from John's POV, so we meet the others and come to understand what's going on, and their relationships with Sherlock, as John does. We occasionally see through Sherlock's eyes, and his delight with John is a delight to read. The sequence of events in this story follows that in A Study in Pink to a remarkable extent, and makes me giggle every time. For such a brief piece, it makes me as happy as the music makes John happy.

A note about the music: )

This is short, sweet, and charming as hell.

Author's summary: Sherlock doesn't like guns.

Reccer's comments: A snapshot of a terrifying moment, the prose here is tensely quiet and just thrumming with danger. A lovely look inside Sherlock's head.
