Title: Woe and Arachnids
Author: [livejournal.com profile] etothepii
Pairing: None
Length: 11,100
Rating: PG-13
Warnings:  None per comm guidelines
Verse: BBC Sherlock, Addams Family
Author's summary: "Wednesday, this is my flatmate, Sherlock Holmes. He's a detective. Sherlock, this is my niece, Wednesday Addams." "Consulting detective," Sherlock corrects sharply. "There's an arachnid in your coat pocket, did you know?"

Reccer's comments: A little tired of the traditional holiday spirit? Then try this palate cleanser! There are three stories in this arc, actually, but this one is the one I read first, and it made me laugh until I nearly cried. An AU where Watson is an Addams on his mother's side. Yes, that Addams family. And Cousin Wednesday comes for a visit!

Title: Murder Will Out
Author: keerawa
Pairing: Gen
Length: approx 1,600 words
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Character Death (Mummy Holmes)
Verse: Sherlock BBC

Author's summary: It had become something of a hobby, over the years. Along with profession, marital status, and general habits, Sherlock would attempt to ascertain what might drive this individual to kill, and what method they would likely employ.

Reccer's comments: Author warns for, "Warnings for mentions of suicide, homicide, other violence, and dark thoughts." Brief cruelty to animals.
I feel so sorry for misunderstood little Sherlock at the start of this fic, thought to be a sociopath as opposed to suffering from emotional overload. He looks at life from his own point of view with his level of respect for people colouring how he thinks people would commit a murder, believing that all it takes is the right set of circumstances.
Then he mets John, who, to his total surprise, shoots a cabbie with no remorse whatsoever.
The final possible murder is what completely makes this fic an incredibly warm friendship fic in a rather dark, but totally logical but Sherlock's point of view, way!
