I'm frankly astounded none of this author's works have been rec'd here before. This is gorgeous and fizzy and ecstatic, filled with word play and foreplay and some side-splitting lines. God love Sherlock and his bullheaded determination to sex John back to health as per strict medical guidelines. God love John and his witheringly sarcastic attempts to fend off a tongue bath. God love me, what an innovative use for tea.

Lest I sound unbearably twee: this is some well-written shit, y'all. Smut, hot, shot through with tender at the core.

I could write a rec three times longer than your fic and not run out of superlatives.

There are fanfic lines I would really, really love to see dropped into the actual show, even though I really, really want the show's creators to stay as far away from fanfic as possible, because that so rarely ends well. "Set theory wills it" is up there with "Never tell me why the corpse exploded" on my running list of "Lines that aren't in the show but damn well should be."
