Reccer's Comments: I will readily admit: I am a slasher of the highest order. So I donned my slash goggles with this one and was quite happy. Was it necessary? No.shiny_n_new did a spectacular job creating her own god!verse in which Mycroft is the brother everyone tributes to and Sherlock is the one everyone avoids because he is "unpredictable and dangerous." While you can find temples to Mycroft all over the city, the only entrance to Sherlock's is through the basement at Barts--which is where John's journey starts. In about 3,000 words shiny_n_new draws you into a place which is reminiscent of both Greece and Tamora Pierce's books in which gods rule the realm and their favors are asked for often. The fic is finished, but she promises that more will be added to the 'verse later (I can't wait!)
