Oh, I like this one. This is a look at the lyrical clockwork of Sherlock's mind. He experiences synaesthesia, "seeing sound and and hearing colours," and tumbling words and letters, significant letters, as clues and markers. This is, in part, also a casefic, which moves between now and then and then & then. It's clever and deft and I grinned like a maniac, reading it.

Words and sound and words and colours and words. Where was his violin? He needed to see what the other notes look like.
