Reccer's comments: This lovely sketch was just posted today, and wow, it's gorgeous. It presents us with an unusually rumpled Mycroft, perhaps at the end of a late night in his first year at university? I love the wrinkles of his cardigan, the tails of his untucked shirt, the delightfully narrow and angular tilt of his shoulders, his lowered eyes, and a haircut reminiscent of James Dean. Quietly attractive, self-contained, and full of character -- this is a beautiful portrait of the young man Mycroft might have been.

a lovely drawing! I'm a big fan of the photo (of Mark Gatiss) it's based on, though I think it might be a manip.

Wow, that is gorgeous indeed! Thanks for sharing the link, it's an impressive piece of art in its own right. Photo manipulations are such delicate projects, I'm always amazed when an artist can get the elements and lighting and everything to match up seamlessly.
