I have a TON of catching up to do when it comes to holiday fics. But let me make a start by recommending this beautiful ACD fic from the Wadvent celebrations over at the watsons_woes comm. It offers a delicate breath of hope in the midst of the hiatus; a perfect Advent vignette made rich with both emotion and historical detail.
