Title: The Most Poetical Thing
Author: silversmith
Pairings: Sherlock/John, Sherlock & John
Length: 4666 words
Rating: Gen
Verse: BBC
Author's summary: Sherlock loves the Underground. Other things are a bit more complicated.

Reccer's comments: This gorgeous fic uses the Tube and Sherlock's love of it as a metaphor, beautifully.  The language is lovely, and Sherlock's adoration of making order out of chaos--and of John for doing the same thing with him--is poetical indeed, and memorable and moving.  This is almost dreamlike in its imagery, and I could feel the sounds and rhythms of the Underground (and Sherlock's heart) as I read this.  <3

Wow, I loved that! Beautiful writing, and how amazing that they wrote about the facade house over the underground line two whole years before Mofftiss used it in series 3 for the confrontation with Mary! I swear, some fic looks prophetic in retrospect.

This fic feels like a cousin to ristrettoette's Switch (http://ristrettoette.livejournal.com/19875.html), which is also lovely.
