Reccer's comments: I always like blind_author's work and this new piece is delightful. I'm kind of an AU junkie, and magic AUs are no exception, so I was on board from the summary, but unless you are violently allergic to AUs you'll love it, too. Featuring excellent characterization, a nicely paced plot that works with canon rather than veering off in a totally different direction, and a healthy dose of BAMF!John. How can you go wrong?
