Title: a fool could see just how much I adore you
Author: trustingno1
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Length: 1724 words
Rating: Explicit
Verse: BBC
Author's summary: Nocturnal penile tumescence, Sherlock thinks, fisting himself furiously, is hateful.
"NPT?" the John in his head asks, amused. "Mate, it's just morning wood."
"Shut up," he grits out, "shut up, shut up."
Reccer's comments: This is a poignant and keenly observed look at the subject of Sherlock and Sex, and at how much he misses John after TSoT. It involves Sherlock's mind palace, a very unwelcome Mycroft, and one more deduction than Sherlock was expecting. It's a lot of heavy lifting for 1700 words, and the summary doesn't really do it justice, but the author makes it into an excellent character study that's tender and funny and sad all at once.
