Title: My mind rebels at stagnation
Artist: sallydonovan
Pairing: Gen
Rating: Unrated (SFW)
Warnings: None
Verse: Sherlock (BBC)
Artist's summary: None given
Reccer's comments: This piece is pure magic. I can’t quite tell whether it's a manip or a from scratch piece but it’s incredible either way. I love how it suggests that Sherlock’s mind may be occupied with several things at once, and that whatever his body is doing doesn’t necessarily reflect what’s going on in his head. Yet despite the busy-ness and the intimation of something verging on hyperactivity, the piece as a whole is very calm and soothing to view, and says to me that Sherlock is always in control, even when it might seem otherwise.
