It's ostensibly about sex, but really about intimacy, and it stays true to Sherlock's asexuality while also examining the depth and complexity of his feelings for John. It's an excellent character study, humorous, melancholy, and lovely, and it has the three-dimensionality and fine-grained attention to detail of all merripestin's work.
