Title: Entropy
Author:
cj_ludd18
Pairing: John/Sherlock
Length: Around 5,000
Rating: R
Warnings: Upsetting post-TGG scenarios (injury, blood, etc.) Major spoilers.
Verse: Sherlock (BBC)
Author's Summary: Entropy: a lack of order, complete unpredictability, utter chaos. Five ways things could’ve gone, and one way they did—but which one’s which?
Reccer's Comments: NOT TO BE MISSED. For my final rec of the month, I'm putting forward the earliest piece that has lingered in my memory as vivid as the day on which I first read it. As post-TGG stories go, Entropy remains one of the most jarring, lyrical, and, at the same time, comforting. Stay with this piece until the very end and the experience will pay off in spades.
cj_ludd18 writes with a spare, poetic elegance and a rare sense of immediacy. I would have recced Strangers, but it has, rightly so, already appeared here. It's been a pleasure sharing my favorites with you!
