And while I'm at it, here's another art rec before the month is over :)
Title: The Omnivorous Reader
Artist: RileyStark
Pairing: Gen
Length: n/a
Rating: G
Warnings: none
Verse: ACD, Granada
Author's summary: “I am an omnivorous reader with a strangely retentive memory for trifles.” - SH
Brett-Holmes done in Paget style.
Reccer's comments: I love the above quote. And Paget's illustrations from The Strand. I don't know the Granada series, but this has such an ACD feeling to it. It almost looks like an old photograph. And I really adore the way Holmes holds his pipe.

Date: 2013-06-29 11:33 pm (UTC)And OP, you must see the Grenada series. It's on NetFlix, if you have access to that, and also easily available on DVD. It's gorgeous and so well acted if a bit goofy at times (action scenes and special effects are not the strong point there, lol). Brett is so twitchy and restless; he was amazing.
