Title: Echo
Music Title & Artist: Echo by Jason Walker
Vidder:
jenncho
Pairing or Character: Mycroft/Lestrade
Verse: Sherlock BBC
Warnings: Character death
Link: http://sherlockbbc.livejournal.com/4908312.html
Summary: While on an undercover assignment Lestrade is killed. Mycroft has a difficult time dealing with this and starts to have a nervous breakdown.
Reccer's Comments: This is so cool! The vidder has created a Mycroft/Lestrade vid-story using shots of Mycroft alternating with scenes of Rupert Graves in other movies. They have matched angles, backgrounds, and dialogue so that the different scenes fit together seamlessly. The narrative is startlingly cohesive, despite the disparate source material. And the emotional impact is quite profound, even for someone who doesn't usually ship this pairing.
