Verse: Sherlock BBC crossover with The Hobbit

Author's summary: Looking back, John wasn’t really sure why he’d thought it was a good idea to get a flatshare with a dragon.
A Hobbit crossover

Reccer's comments: Yes, I'm sure it has escaped no one's notice that there is a fashion for this particular crossover at the moment! However this one stands out for me.

This is the tale of John Watson, the Hobbit, who firmly believes it is the Took in him that has him living in a city full of humans, then moving in with Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective and Dragon under his concealment charm!

Like in so many of the best crossovers, the two canons are woven together brilliantly and the fantastic characterisation means that they are still very much John and Sherlock. This means two rather off-beat men, running around, throwing themselves into danger and there is definite deep friendship/bromance/ insert-term-of-your-choice!

On top of all this it is a well-plotted, fast moving adventure story filled with drama and great humour!

Excerpt:
“What’s wrong?” John asked, lowering the mug he’d been about to sip from.
“You don’t seem perturbed,” Sherlock stated.
“About what? The fingers I just found in the margarine tub? Because yes, actually, those perturb me quite a bit.”
