Title: Undercurrents
Author: entanglednow
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Length: 2996

Rating:  Explicit
Verse: Sherlock BBC

Author's summary: "There, that's it, perfect, shut your eyes and don't move - and don't speak."

Reccer's comments: I hope I searched the spreadsheet correctly, because it seems impossible this story hasn’t been recc’d before.   It is a strangely romantic (emphasis on strange!) window on what makes Sherlock and John work so well together.  In summary, John stumbles upon a kink of Sherlock’s, and decides to go along with it.   It’s disturbing, it’s erotic, and it’s wonderfully in character for both men.  If you've somehow missed this, then you should go read it right now.  If you've read it before, then it's likely time for a re-read!

How funny, I was just rereading this about half an hour ago - great choice!

You don't happen to know who it was that wrote a follow-up fic to this one, do you? It involved John falling asleep in his chair, posed like a recent victim, and Sherlock getting a chance to use his gloves while examining John. I've been looking, but my Google-fu isn't cutting it this time.

Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me, though!

Hooray! Thank you! I can see now why my searches didn't come up with much; I probably could have gone right past this summary without realizing. *makes face*

Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] swissmarg! You're always so good with story recs and searches. ^_^

Well, to be fair I had an 'in' on this one. I wouldn't have found it with a regular search either, since she doesn't name the author or title of the original story in her notes, just links to the LJ version.

Thanks so much Swissmarg -- I was really enjoying reading through entanglednow's ouevre, but really being like "I was SURE this had a sequel!!" They should probably link to each other a little harder!!

BTW, I love entanglednow's "Laws of Thermodynamics" -- what an awesome series. :)

It's been ages since I've read this, you are right: it was indeed high time for a repeat!

Thank you also, [livejournal.com profile] swissmarg, for the link to the scorching sequel. I curse past!me for not knowing it existed.
