Reccer's Comments: The series promo video is a special art form in and of itself, especially when it's speculative like this, for a series that has not yet been aired. This vision of series 4 is dark, sexy, and emotionally tense, with stunning editing and pacing. A few additions of text (a la Sherlock's deductions) and video effects make this look slick and professional. What really impressed me was how the vidder incorporated many different sources of footage and audio from what must be an extensive video library, yet made it all fit seamlessly into the Sherlock universe. An extremely high-class production.

Title: Crazy For Love
Author: prettyvk
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Length: 98739
Rating: Teen
Warnings: None
Verse: Sherlock BBC

Author Summary: It starts with five words.  "Is my father really dead?"  Or maybe, that's how it ends.

Reccer's Comments:  When Sherlock meets Moriarty's son at the conclusion of his mission and brings him home to Baker Street, his life is already upended from his death and 'resurrection'.  I was just as taken with the troubled son of our favorite arch-nemesis as Sherlock and didn't mind at all that the story reads as about 100,000 words of setup for further adventures (it is listed as the first in a series).  As I see it, after years fanfic, anything that keeps me reading into the small hours of the night is a resounding win.
