Series Title: Meetings
Author: prettybirdy979
Pairing: Gen for the first, second and fourth; Sherlock/John for the third
Length: 3063 words
Rating: General/Teen
Warnings: None
Verse: Crossover BBC Sherlock/Doctor Who

Author's series summary: Because life is just a series of meetings. Sometimes they're even in the right order.

Part 1: (Of Second Meetings) With the Doctor around, sometimes second meetings aren't always second meetings.
Part 2: (Of First Meetings) Timelines are wibbly wobbly things.
Part 3: (Of Final Meetings) Three old men, sharing tales over tea.
Part 4: (Foreboding Meetings) There's only enough room for one murderer on the TARDIS

Reccer's comments: Full disclosure, I looked over some of these delightful stories before they were posted and helped brainstorm a bit over titles. Some are kinda fluffy, some are kinda angsty, and one is creepy because, well - Moriarty. They are quite short, and the author plans on adding more to the series in future.

Part 1: John and Sherlock's second meeting, at 221B? Well, that wasn't their ACTUAL second meeting. The Doctor's interference creates a fixed point.

Part 2: Sherlock meets the Doctor for the first time right after he returns from the dead.

Part 3: The first time the Doctor meets Sherlock and John is also the final time they meet him. Retirement, old age and bees.

Part 4: The Doctor and Moriarty meet up twice. Once when Jim is twelve years old, and once on the eve of his death.

Title: The World Forgetting, by the World Forgot
Author: lotherington
Pairing: Sherlock Holmes/John Watson
Length: 9962 words
Rating: Mature
Warnings: none
Verse: Sherlock BBC / Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind fusion
Author's summary: ‘John?’ Sherlock whispers. They’re in bed together, lying under the sheets as summer sunshine pours in from outside. ‘Am I... am I a freak?’

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind crossover/fusion/re-telling.
Reccer's comments: This is a terrific merging of the Eternal Sunshine plot and the Sherlock universe characters. The choices of which characters play which role are well-made, and there are small tweaks to the story that fit its new characters. The poignancy and dark melancholy of the original movie is very well-translated into lotherington's writing, which is evocative and touching, without being melodramatic.

Title: John's lucky pants
Author: LadyMerlin
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Length: 4411
Rating: Mature
Verse: Sherlock BBC
Author's summary: Sherlock observes things. It's what he does. He especially observes things about John. Like the fact that John has a pair of red pants. Somehow, he can't just let that go. Insanity ensues.

Reccer's comments: The fic to read on Red Pants Monday. Reasons why I liked this story: Sherlock's endearing inability to delete things about John from his harddrive. 2) Sherlock giving it his best to try and deduce the significance of John’s red pants. 3) A lovely happy ending, even though Sherlock deduced wrong. A fun read!
