holmestice, and now I can finally rec it properly. The author has taken what little we hear about Harry and expanded her into such a believable, human character. The relationship between Harry and John is rocky and uncertain, but we never lose sight of the ties that bind them together anyway. If Harry's ever introduced in BBC canon, I can only wish she'll be as compelling as this one.

Date: 2013-01-06 10:21 pm (UTC)I saw a Sherlock video that featured Catherine Tate as Harry! I almost want them to use her, as she could surely put the "Harry" in Harridan. She's terrific at playing difficult yet emotional characters (and can't you just see the EPIC tug-of-war between Harry and Sherlock for John?).
