Reccer's comments: In the spirit of full disclosure, I had the great pleasure of betaing this story. There are times when you read a WIP or beta for someone and cheer encouragingly for the next chapter. Or you stalk your inbox for the update. And then... then there are the times you try to claw your way through the computer so that you can wrench the draft out of the author’s hands. This was one of THOSE times. Greg and Mycroft’s history here is... God, it just aches in the very best way. There’s nothing horrific or tragic about it, but it’s so human and so possible.
More full disclosure: I had a nearly impossible time narrowing my choice for which fic of sc010f’s to rec. She is both prolific and brilliant. *nudges you towards her AO3 page*
