Reccer's comments: If Sherlock and John were to get together and then try to find the perfect house out in the country in their late fifties, this fic would be exactly what happens. You can definitely see Sherlock won't accept anything but the best and John's always going to be right by his side. I think the thing I love best about this fic is how deliciously domestic and sassy the boys (I can never think of them as old men for some reason) remain in their old age. Perfect.
