Title: This Town We're Painting
Author:
fahye
Pairing: Annabelle Fritton/Kelly Jones (gen for Sherlock)
Length: 7932 words
Author's summary: She'd never expected to find herself a government employee. But these days Kelly had a boss who'd never once tried to hit on her, an expense account of apparently exospheric height, and a job that was almost as fun as outright crime.
Rating: Teen and up
Warnings: None
Verse: Sherlock BBC + St. Trinian's (2007 movie)
Reccer's comments: This is my bona fide amazing megahit of a Yuletide exchange gift fic, which (despite clear evidence to the contrary) I'm always worried will be overlooked by Sherlock fandom, since it's not tagged as such on AO3. That is, this is really a St. Trinian's fic - the Sherlock content is a free lunch/Easter egg the author threw in when she saw I was in the fandom. But what an Easter egg! My head canon for Mycroft and Anthea's workaday environment, definitely; and as for Sherlock himself, it's too good to give away.
