Title: A Fangirl’s Guide to London, Sherlock edition
Artist:
pennswoods
Pairing: Gen
Length: Individual cartoons. There are about 30 of them so far.
Rating: Gen
Warnings: none necessary by comm rules
Verse: These are set in the real world, but there's a sapient skull and the fangirl is taking her cues from BBC Sherlock!
Author's summary: None. The cartoons speak for themselves.
Reccer's comments: These are accomplished little cartoons in which a fangirl dressed like Sherlock and with bottle glasses goes around London, accompanied by a skull pal. She acts out BBC Sherlock scenes and performs tribute activites, from going on the tube with a harpoon to fighting a chip and pin machine. I’ve linked to the very first in the series above; to see all the rest click on
pennswoods ‘a fangirl’s guide’ tag. They're great fannish fun.
NB: It occurred to me part-way through preparing this post that the Fangirl cartoons are kind of half in BBC-world and half-meta, and this comm doesn't normally do meta, so I checked with the mods before reccing.
