Reccer's comments: Decidedly AU and yet ever in character, a warm and delightfully adorable story. My friend neadods referred to this as "just a warm soothing cup of cocoa of a story," and I don't think I could put it any better myself. It also raises the question, what would both John and Sherlock have been like as adults, if they'd had each other to rely on since childhood?
