Reccer's comments: this is actually a very badly-disguised artist rec, because spacefall has drawn scores of Holmes/Watson pictures, and some more involving other characters from the canon (Irene Adler posing with her husband, but also Lestrade and Hopkins come to mind), and it's very, very difficult to choose only one pic to rec. This one is gorgeous, but then so is this one, and this one, and this one… Some are definitely Not Safe For Work, some have a lot of snogging going on, and some are just plain adorable. And then you can just head over to the artist's memories; every line is beautiful and realistic and warm. They've basically become my headcanon for what ACD!Holmes&Wason look like.

Oh, the one linked under the third "this one" ( :) ) is just gorgeous! It's so rich and warm.

That's one of the things I love about this comm - it's giving me a chance to explore the other Sherlock Holmes 'verses, and the talent in them.

God, I know. I had to make a choice between that one, the bathtub one and the floor slippers, and I ended up tossing a coin because I just couldn't decide which one was the best. I can't help but smile when I look at the fireplace one, it is so beautiful. &hearts
