Remix Redux 10 went live this week and authors are still anonymous. There are 8 stories for Sherlock BBC (http://archiveofourown.org/collections/remix2012/tags/Sherlock%20%28TV%29/works) (the challenge was restricted to AO3).

There was one story written in Ritchie-verse, though it could be read for other Victorian sources. It's my favorite of the Sherlock Holmes offers: Two Men in a Boat (to say nothing of the fog) (http://archiveofourown.org/collections/remix2012/works/384087), a remix of A Beautiful Pea-Green Boat (http://archiveofourown.org/works/95482) by ariadnes_string, influenced also by Jerome K. Jerome's Three Men in a Boat. It can be read alone, as understanding it doesn't depend on the original. It's well written and funny, with an irritated, spirited Watson and a less annoying Holmes.

One of the original stories that I really enjoyed was You Lead, I Lead, You Follow, I Follow (http://brighteyed-jill.livejournal.com/95333.html) by brighteyed_jill, which I hadn't read before. Delirious, fevered John, imagining dancing lessons.

One Week by Liisakee on YouTube, content from seasons one and two Sherlock BBC. This one is crazy things that John and Sherlock get up to with appropriate music and what the vidder calls 'epic friendship'. It never fails to cheer me up :D

What John (really) is to Sherlock by daagrrl on YouTube, content from seasons one and two Sherlock BBC. Short and hilarious - all the times people have tried to label what John is to Sherlock, and what John decides works.

Are You Watching Closely? by Liisakee on YouTube, content from Sherlock bbc season two. The Fall. Why we're obsessed with figuring it out. This vid, cleverly using a voiceover from The Prestige (which you don't need to have seen at all), should be an advertisement for season three. It's not a weepy, it's an oh-my-heart-give-me-season-three.

I wish you would be real with me by HeartPrism on YouTube, sherlock bbc season one content only. John falls for Sherlock, who doesn't reciprocate: watch and be amused, even when feeling sorry for John. It's the timing and the music. From the summary: What adds insult to injury for poor John is that you really would think that Sherlock is gay. But he doesn't even like boys.

At The Beginning by selina bln on livejournal, sherlock bbc season one content along with the first ritchie film, some from ITV, and Basil The Great Mouse Detective. I think this has already been recced here, but it's worth the reminder - Holmes/Watson through the ages. Plain sweet.

I read this short asexual!Sherlock ficlet today, which I just really really liked. Hell, I like this author in general :)

A Lost Thimble (http://archiveofourown.org/works/359048) is a charming and well-written AU mixing BBC's Sherlock and Norton's The Borrowers. Since The Borrowers is aimed at children, you might expect unadulterated fluff, but the parts posted so far are wistful and melancholic in tone. Both John and Sherlock seem very much in character. Dialogue is excellent.

Author's Summary: [Borrowers!AU] John Hamish Watson has watched Sherlock Holmes from a close distance since they were children, but they live in differently sized worlds. This does not stop him from losing his heart, or from following it all the way to Baker Street. This is the story of John and Sherlock's adventures in London, and how, through the ruthless cunning of crime consultant Jim Moriarty, they learn that one very tiny borrower can make the biggest difference of all.

The Devil's in the Details (http://archiveofourown.org/works/340333) by nox_candida (http://archiveofourown.org/users/nox_candida/) is a lovely, slow burning fem!John/Lestrade story exploring the development of a D/s relationship between the two of them in a highly believable and interesting way.

Summary: Jane Watson meets Greg Lestrade and sees in him a man who needs something very specific and she wants, more than anything, to give that to him.

I don't know if it's still Saturday anywhere, but I would love it if someone could rec me a stunning, emotional het fic from the BBC verse. Preferably high rated, although a great kissing scene would also be good.

Have you read Sustain (or Concerto for the Famished in D Minor) (http://archiveofourown.org/works/217671/chapters/327390) by Maybe Amanda and OneMillionAndNine? It's Sherlock/Molly and absolutely amazing, very emotionally intense. As is The Least of All Possible Mistakes (http://archiveofourown.org/works/330685/chapters/533662) by rageprufrock. It's Mycroft/Lestrade, but Lestrade is a woman. It's also a WIP, and we're hanging at a heartbreaking spot, so be warned!

I was going to mention Sustain and its sequel -- wonderful, but as you say (I think) the sequel ends at a painful point. Holding my breath for its resolution.
