Open Recs Weekends

For the next few weeks, we're opening up the community to public rec posts on Saturday and Sunday.

We'll make a general post on Saturday for anyone to post recs in comments, if you'd prefer just giving a short description and a link. Recs may be for fic, art, vids, or podfic in any Sherlock Holmes 'verse.

If you'd prefer to make a rec in a separate post on these weekends, please follow our guidelines and template, and include relevant tags. Please note that we're more conservative when it comes to warnings -- put any comments you like about content in your review, but please keep "warnings" for main character death, non-con or rape, underage sex, or extreme violence.

This is an excellent idea! Are you going to have themes, or will it always just be 'open rec weekend'?

We'll have our regular themed open rec day in the middle of one week each month, but so far this is just to give people somewhere to make recs for the week.

Our previous open rec days had themes. Click on any of the tags that begin with "theme" (theme: sherlock pov (http://221b-recs.livejournal.com/tag/theme%3A%20sherlock%20pov)) and you'll see all the recs made and the intro post.

Oops, sorry. We're suspending our monthly theme rec for April so it doesn't get confusing. Just the open rec weekends and the Saturday recs post for recs in comments, then.
