This story is so pitch-perfect. I love it. I love young Mycroft, his defenses not quite formed yet. I love Uncle Rudy, so matter-of-fact and practical in the face of something so grim. I love the way that Mycroft looks up to him. I could read thousands and thousands and thousands of words about these two.

And the scene where Mycroft caught little Eurus measuring Sherlock with her hands was chilling, and something I could so easily picture given the glimpses we got of the Holmes children.
