Your rec is lovely, and I can't wait to read this. I'm also so happy to see Martha Hudson and her chief bridesmaid Margaret mentioned. Ever since that scene in TSOT, I felt so sorry for Margaret, the obvious mirroring of John and Sherlock (and foreshadowing of Sherlock disappearing on John) planting a dagger in my heart for them all.
