Reccer's comments: This is a terrific story, set post-Fall, told from Mrs Hudson's point of view. It tells of how she met Sherlock, amid the tragedy of the death of her son. How in him she found a new son, "her fierce dark Sherlock", who then brings in, "her sweet-natured John".
Mrs Hudson here is shown with all her steely determination hidden under fluff and the strong love that forms between her and her boys. This story goes beyond fluff though and as a plot of comparsions and resilence that makes me want to read it again and again!
