Reccer's comments: This is seriously the most un-PC story I've ever recc'ed.  Moriarty puts Sherlock into a classic "fuck or die" situation with an unknowing John. I'm not sure what makes it so good, but the story is wonderfully straightforward, even kind of raw, and somehow both Sherlock and John (and Moriarty too) are in perfect character.
