Reccer's comments: Firstly, this is just really funny, from concept to execution. Not crack, not standup comedy-type funny, just a lighthearted and amusing read. Secondly, if you like clever!Lestrade and not!spineless!John, then this is a fic for you. The premise and characterisations make it seem almost like a pre-season 2 fic, as it's entirely devoid of any post-Reichenbach or S3 angst. A clever little case and a lovely view into what a working friendship between John and Greg might look like top off a cracking good read.
