John's voice in this first person account of the aftermath of the fall (it was written in 2012 and goes AU pretty fast) is loopy, pressured, almost drunk in its fury - not exactly the blogger we know, but a bitter and perhaps dangerous man. I've no idea if the metaphors hold up, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter. It's a whiplash ride. Aieee!
