Author's summary: In order to make sure that the murderer is caught, Sherlock fakes a coma. However, nobody but Mycroft knows Sherlock isn't actually comatose. Including John.
Reccer's comments: Sherlock thinks he has come up with the perfect plan and can't see the fallout that is inevitable. Mycroft can but steps back and lets the events unfold because he believes that his little brother needs to appreciate the friendship he has with John.
Ultimately a story of friendship, families and Sherlock finding out what is truly important to him.
