Author's summary: Holmes has been pushing himself too hard again.

Reccer's comments: Keep an eye on golddust! This is her first Sherlock Holmes art, and it is incredibly beautiful and sensual. It is a drawing of Watson and an exhausted Holmes in bed, recuperating after a trying case. Watson is peering over Holmes’ shoulder and watches him sleep.

What gets me is how subtle yet telling their expressions are. Holmes looks very peaceful at first glance, but there is also a hint of pain lurking behind his eyelids. Watson looks at him with devotion but again, there is a hint of anxiety. She also captured their differences so well: Watson is a bit more bulkily muscular and has a slightly darker skin tone than Holmes. Once more, it’s all very subtle. It’s one of those pictures you can look at time and again and discover something new every time. Truly splendid.
