A fantastic piece of fan art and the fic that it inspired!

Title: Yes, you are Sherlock.
Artist: ineffableboyfriends
Pairing: Gen
Rating: U
Warnings: None
Verse: Sherlock BBC, crossover with Doctor Who (virtually spoiler free, sweetie!)
Author's summary: Yes, you are Sherlock.
Reccer's comments: More poignant if you've seen "Asylum of the Daleks" but that's not necessary to make this heart wrenching. In all the best ways!
Fic Rec
Title: Not a Machine
Author: ladykarasu
Pairing: Gen
Length: 1,471 words
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Verse: Sherlock BBC, crossover with Doctor Who (also virtually spoiler-free)
Author's summary: It started with the invasion. That sounded like a bad sci-fi opener, true, but it made the statement no less accurate.
Sherlock has a tendency to wander, fall, or stride into dangerous situations. Conveniently, John has always gotten there in time to mitigate the results, before. This time, he's a little too late. Good thing he's such a stubborn man.
Life gets a little more interesting once he gets Sherlock back, though.
Reccer's comments: Sherlock has to come to terms with how his life has changed and the exactly what John Watson is prepared to do for his friend. John, in the meantime, is just completely in BAMF mode, whether emotionally or in the more heavily-armed and seriously unhappy sense!
(yes, I admit to a serious weakness for bamf!John. There, I said it!)
