Title: Pieces of Eight
Author: Sheffiesharpe
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Length: 4770
Rating: Mature
Verse: Sherlock BBC
Author's summary: It begins as an argument about the literary merits of Robert Louis Stevenson. It ends as something else entirely.
Reccer's comments: The banter, oh the banter. I'm a consummate sucker for smart, snappy, in-character dialogue and it doesn't get much better than Sheffiesharpe. As well as having a handful of small details that make it richly characterized, Pieces of Eight also contains a good deal of humor and depth for its length. It's deliciously written and wonderfully put together.
