Reccer's comments: First of all, the author's summary does the fic a disservice. It's not even remotely as lyrical as it sounds. Secondly, as a lover of fluff and happy endings, I rarely enthuse about post-Reichenbach fics but this one I love with all my heart, even though I find myself silently sobbing halfway through on every re-read.

In this fic, John slowly loses the plot after Sherlock's death while Mrs Hudson, Lestrade and Molly helplessly look on. There's drunk confessions of love to an absent friend, there's sleeping on his grave, there's an awkward NSY party, there's a growing disconnection to the world, there's texting between brothers and a Sherlock who wrongly thinks that John will pull through long enough. There's also Gladstone and a reunion and a host of things that do not go at all as Sherlock had planned. Even after Sherlock moves back into Baker Street, a lot happens before the story comes to a realistic, yet happy-making end.

What I loved most about this fic was how I could so relate to John's feelings due to the absolutely excellent writing. And despite the topic of extreme grief and suicide attempts, it was never over-dramatic in stlye but written just right, possibly even understated which fitted John's point of view really well. The description of the feelings of everyone involved is just perfect. All in all, a very moving read, with a kind of dark humour popping up occasionally. Also, romance lovers should be very satisfied with the final quarter of the fic. :)

My favourite little plot twist in this: John's suicide attempt doesn't succeed because he's technologically inept when it comes to his own blog...
