Title: The Deepest Secret Nobody Knows
Author: by
flecalicious
Pairing: Sally/Sherlock (past), John/Sherlock (implied)
Length: 12,006 words
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: none
Verse: Sherlock BBC
Author's summary: She remembers out of focus impressions of paleness, the kind of skin that burns in English sunshine, and freckles, dulled by winter, on his spine, and somewhere in the hours between opening her front door and hearing it close in the morning the biggest mistake of Sally's life is cemented into reality in the strongest possible way.
The real reason Sally Donovan hates Sherlock so much? They have a child he never sees.
Reccer's comments:This is an amazing story that takes the way that Sally Donovan treated (and was allowed to treat) Sherlock and weaves a story around them that you will absolutely believe. I watched the show again after reading this and I could credit all of Sally's actions to this very memorable story. It runs from pre-show through The Great Game and while it's complete in itself you will find yourself thinking about what could happen after TGG.
flecalicious assured me that she's planning more to the story. I know that I'll look forward to seeing it when the time comes.
