Reccer's Comments: Although Hush is, I feel, the stronger of these two stories, it's impossible to rec one and not the other, given that they're companion pieces. The real wonder is that there's very little dialogue in either one of these; in spite of that fact, they present unique, compelling interpretations of both Sherlock's and John's viewpoints. The sex in Hush is described in such a way that the fact they're in complete darkness and both wearing earplugs is absolutely palpable. Hush is one of the first pieces of Sherlock fic I ever read, and I remain impressed with it.
