Bendingsignpost’s unnamed AU of AU's (http://bendingsignpost.livejournal.com/15315.html?thread=985299#t985299) is now complete! If you are a fan of the Watches 'Verse, this is a must-read. The premise is that John from the Watches ‘Verse (http://archiveofourown.org/series/15213) overwrites John from another of ben’s AU stories. It starts as a response to a cracky prompt in a comment chain on the author’s LJ account, but he (of course) managed to turn it into a heart-wrenching well-plotted story just chock full of feelings.
Because it’s written as a series of LJ comments, interspersed with reader comments, it can be challenging to follow sometimes, but it’s worth the effort. However, the author does plan to clean it up and post it as a proper story when he has the time, so you can also wait for the “official” version.
