Reccer's comments:  I hope that I’m not taking liberties with the open rec month by rec’ing again so soon, but this mouth-watering story was meant to be shared.  Bendsignpost has an awe-inspiring talent for description, which in this fic is so concentrated that each word seems to carry twice its usual weight.  The characterizations are lovely as well, particularly John, who is wonderfully slow and deliberate and in control.  But please be warned – this story WILL make you hungry!
