More often than not, her stories are connected to a canon case. She also writes original case fics. Summer of Change is an example of the latter. Our heroes join a countryside party to investigate a jewel theft in a stately home, a short while after the Great Hiatus. Watson has finally learned to forgive Holmes and is slowly realizing that in recovering his affections for his friend he might have uncovered deeper feelings. Also featured is a fantastically hot game of deduction.
