Reccer's comments:  This story takes a throw-away line from the BBC show – where John tells Sarah he used to play the clarinet - and paints a vivid picture of communicating through the universal language of music.   I could almost hear the violin and clarinet as I read.  The story captures that feeling of companionship when playing with someone so beautifully.   Highly recommended.
