Yeah, I think she was just mixing canons for this, which I love :) I'm pretty sure she wrote it after seeing the film about nine times, but I also remember suspecting that she was imagining Jeremy Brett as this Holmes. In any case, I will rec this story UNTIL THE END OF TIME <3 It's always good for a re-read!
